Did you ever run into a hairdresser that you decided was not doing a good job on your hair and decided not to go to back to her anymore?
I had been going to her for a long time, maybe 6 or 7 years and she did a good job in cutting my hair, because, at the time, I liked short hairstyles, but one day I asked for highlights, and something went really wrong and I didn't see any highlights, so I paid for something that I didn't get. Plus, when I decided I wanted to grow my hair longer, she lacked the skills in giving me a flattering hairstyle. So, I decided it was time for a change and I never went back to her. I did find an excellent hairdresser, whom I am never leaving. She never fails to make my hair look absolutely beautiful and giving me the latest hairstyles.
So, anyway, last week, I was taking a Zumba dance class at the gym and my former hairdresser was there. I didn't recognize her at first, because it's probably been a good 4-5 years since I've seen her and I thought she looked familiar. So, towards the end of the class, she came running towards me and introduced herself. Yikes, very, very awkward situation. I don't really feel I owe her an explanation why I didn't go back to her, so all I said was, "I didn't recognize you" and left it at that. Now, I'm worried that I'm going to run into her again. I'm such a wuss!
